Yarn: 4 ply baby yarn – suggestions: Shepherd baby 4ply , Dale baby ull, Debbie Bliss cashmerino, 100g (100g, 150g, 150g) main colour (MC) 25g (25g, 50g, 50g) each of 2 contrast colours (CC1 & CC2), Small amounts of yarn for motif. 

Needles,  notions and accessories:3 mm needles, 3.25 mm needles, 3 mm circular needle, yarn needle for sewing up. 5 x small flat buttons, 1 x press fastener.  

Gauge: 26 sts x 38 rows using 3.25 mm needles in stocking st over 10cm square
