Licences to sell garments made using JustJussi patterns.

Under New Zealand law I own all rights to the patterns and garments that I have created.

I state my copyright on all patterns I sell or give away

Copyright notices tell you what you can or cannot do.

 

 Licenses are an agreement between two people or agencies.

Basic tenets of my licenses:

 - It is a lifetime license, you may sell as many garments as you can make.

 - You will never be asked to pay another fee.

 - The license belongs to you and cannot be sold or transferred.

 - You must buy the pattern from me prior to applying for a license.

 - You may not sell, transmit, publish or pass on my patterns.

 - I offer commercial licenses only.

- licenses do not confer exclusive use of a design, if you prefer exclusivity please contact me personally.

• Where you have credited me as the designer and linked to my website  www.justjussi.com 

  You may use this pattern to produce garments for charity, or to raise funds for charity

Please request permission from the author to vary from this copyright.

~For commercial licensees I offer the following three license options:

These licenses are for garments knit by outworkers or contract knitters, for sale in your retail store (whether online or bricks and mortar).

1) License to use the Aviatrix and Poppy patterns using contract knitters and outworkers.

This is a lifetime license for the Poppy and Aviatrix hat design.

You may sell as many garments as you like and I will not ask for a renewal fee or any other future payment.

 You will never have to pay any additional charges or fees in relation to this license. 

This license is for garments only – you may not sell, transmit, publish or pass on this publication (in printed or electronic form) or the license.

 You may use my name when you sell these garments (e.g. “as designed by Justine Turner of JustJussi”) or not at your discretion, however the garments are not to be marketed as your own design

Currently available for $30.00 US

 2) License to use any other individual JustJussi patterns using contract knitters or outworkers.

This is a lifetime license for the (named) design.

You must buy the named pattern, the pattern is not included in the license cost.

You may sell as many garments as you like and I will not ask for a renewal fee or any other future payment.

This license belongs to the named licensee, outworkers must buy their own pattern and license if they wish to produce garments for sale by anyone other than the licensee.

 You will never have to pay any additional charges or fees in relation to this license.

This license is for garments only – you may not sell, transmit, publish or pass on this publication (in printed or electronic form) or the license.

You may use my name when you sell these garments (e.g. “as designed by Justine Turner of JustJussi”) or not at your discretion, however the garments are not to be marketed as your own design.

Currently available for $40.00 US

 3) License to use 5 or more JustJussi patterns using contract knitters or outworkers.

This is a lifetime license for the (named) designs.

You must buy the named patterns, the pattern is not included in the license cost.

You may sell as many garments as you like and I will not ask for a renewal fee or any other future payment.

This license belongs to the named licensee, outworkers must buy their own license if they wish to produce garments for sale by anyone other than the licensee.

 You will never have to pay any additional charges or fees in relation to this license.

This license is for garments only – you may not sell, transmit, publish or pass on this publication (in printed or electronic form) or the license.

 You may use my name when you sell these garments (e.g. “as designed by Justine Turner of JustJussi”) or not at your discretion, however the garments are not to be marketed as your own design.
