As we have mentioned previously, the undyed merino is certified organic, and
still contains some lanolin (handy if the pants are going to be used as soakers)
we also hand dye some of the organic merino - using acid dyes and white vinegar,
therefore the handdyed yarn is no longer regarded as organic - but we think it
is still better than commercially grown and dyed merino. These pants are
handwashable - a task made easier by using a non-rinse woolwash product e.g.
Eucalan or Kookaburra.
